What is the Israel Story?
The Israel Story is an organization that was built around John Myers teaching on the heart, plan, and purpose of God for the nation of Israel and the Jewish people. This teaching can be obtained via video or podcasts. The course is designed to be experienced individually or as a group. Out of this core teaching, the Israel Story is expanding into an ongoing biblical teaching tool, and bridge to issues and influencers in and/or upon Israel and the Jewish people.
Who is John Myers?
You can read a bit of his bio in the about section, and if you go through the Israel Story, you will find his personal story included in the bonus material. His has been and continues to be an unusual journey, and we recommend checking his story out. Suffice it to say that John is a Jewish believer in and follower of the Messiah, Yeshua (Jesus). That’s the important part!
Are you guys political?
That’s not a simple question to answer. We live in the real world and politics are a part of that world. God is active in the real world and that means in the geopolitical realities of our day. We address those issues when we believe they are relevant, but our goal is not to advance a political agenda. Our belief is that God’s story is vastly bigger than any political system or ideology. The issue to us is not, “Whose side is God on, but who is on God’s side.”
Are you guys Anti-Palestinian?
No. Above all, we are followers of Yeshua, who believe that God loves Palestinians as much as He loves Israelis, and loves Gentiles as much as He loves Jews. We also believe that God has unique callings, purposes, and promises for individuals and nations. This applies to Israelis, Palestinians and all of mankind. We believe that God’s unique calling and purpose for Israel and the Jewish people is to be a blessing to all of mankind
How do I take the Israel Story?
We have a few ways you can do that. You can take it via our online course system either as an individual or a group. We also have a mobile app for both iOS and Android coming out in the next month. When this is released, if you download The Israel Story app, you can access the video course on your smartphone or listen to the content as podcasts by just going through the audio version.
How can my church go through this?
We are glad you asked. The Israel Story was designed as a resource for individuals and churches/organizations. If you are interested in your church or organization going through it, reach out to us in our contact area. We can get you set up on a portal of your own that your groups can use to access it.
